WEX announced the general availability release of its 10-4 by WEX mobile app on October 4, 2024. This free app provides independent truckers and small trucking companies in the U.S. with fuel discounts typically reserved for larger trucking enterprises.
The new offering expands WEX’s total addressable market in its Mobility segment by extending its diesel product offerings to sole proprietors and other independent businesses. Independent truckers spend approximately $50,000 on diesel fuel annually, representing a significant market opportunity.
The 10-4 by WEX app does not require credit applications or credit checks, allowing users to upload their debit or credit card for instant savings. It is accepted at a growing network of U.S.-based truck stops, including Love's Travel Stops and the 7FLEET Diesel Network.
