XWELL has expanded its partnership with Priority Pass to key international airports in the Middle East and Europe, including Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Priority Pass members can now use their lounge visit entitlement to receive a 20‑minute autonomous massage session on XWELL’s loungers, accompanied by a complimentary face mask. The expansion also grants members access to all XWELL and XpresSpa sites across North America, excluding Austin.

The move supports XWELL’s strategy to become a wellness solutions provider for people on the go. CEO Ezra Ernst said the partnership extends restorative experiences to more passengers worldwide. Priority Pass provides access to over 1,600 airport lounges in 148 countries, increasing XWELL’s brand visibility and customer reach.

The partnership is part of XWELL’s broader strategy to leverage technology‑driven, labor‑lite services in transit hubs. XWELL has faced financial challenges, reporting a net loss of $5.7 million in Q2 2023 and $9.92 million in Q3 2023, with revenue falling to $7.47 million in Q3 2023 from $13.6 million in Q3 2022. Full‑year 2023 revenue was $30.1 million, a 46.2% decline from $53.3 million in 2022, and a net loss of $28 million.

Segment breakdown shows Q2 2023 revenue: $5.3 million from XpresSpa/Treat, $2.3 million from a biosurveillance partnership, and $0.6 million from HyperPointe. In Q2 2024, revenue was $4.9 million from XpresSpa/Treat, $3.8 million from XpresTest (biosurveillance and HyperPointe), and $0.5 million from Naples Wax Center.

The expansion into the Middle East and Europe diversifies XWELL’s customer base and revenue streams, positioning the company to capture a growing demand for convenient wellness experiences among international travelers. The company is also implementing cost‑saving initiatives and focusing on profitability under CEO Ezra Ernst, who succeeded Scott Milford in September 2024.

XWELL’s competitive landscape includes other airport wellness providers and premium credit card lounge networks such as American Express Platinum and Chase Sapphire Reserve. The partnership with Priority Pass gives XWELL a unique channel to convert lounge visit entitlements into revenue‑generating wellness sessions, potentially offsetting declining revenues in its core markets.
