The digital platform streamlines the supplier selection process by allowing potential suppliers to submit credentials online, moving from traditional methods to a dynamic, interactive, and data-driven approach. This is designed to significantly reduce manual workload and time for evaluation, while promoting transparency and fairness.
This initiative is part of Yum China's broader 'Spend Better, Buy Better' strategy, aimed at enhancing efficiency and connecting with more high-quality global suppliers. Since its pilot launch in April 2024, the platform has already attracted applications in over 30 categories, covering more than a third of the company's total procurement needs.
