Catalyst's key differentiator is its fully integrated marketing-friendly visual editor, Makeswift, which aims to simplify the creation of fast, modern ecommerce storefronts. This addresses the historical challenge of time and resources needed for composable commerce, making its benefits more accessible to brands and retailers.
The platform is integrated with core BigCommerce functionality, including customizable checkouts, robust APIs, and multi-storefront capabilities. UPLIFT Desk, a manufacturer of standing desks, successfully moved its online store to Catalyst, citing increased flexibility and a streamlined onboarding process.
